Nearly four decades of quality feed and honest service in downtown Versailles.
Quality Feeds was founded in 1988 by Randy and Margie Cotton of Versailles, KY. They built a strong reputation in Versailles and Central Kentucky by providing quality products, reliable service, and a strong relationship with customers. Randy started out manufacturing bulk livestock feed, but later changed with the times to provide higher-end feed and supplies to the growing equine industry of Central Kentucky. Meanwhile, Margie grew the store to be known as THE high-end pet store of Versailles, KY, by carrying the newest premium pet foods and backing it with the knowledge necessary to set customers up with the feeds they need to watch their pets thrive.
Fast forward to 2020, when Quality Feeds was purchased by Jake and Haylee Horton. Jake had worked for Randy and Margie for 8 years while attending the University of Kentucky after serving in the United States Marine Corps. He spent these years learning the ins and outs of providing customers with the best service, knowledge, and products on the market, while creating a personal connection with long-time shoppers and new customers alike.
